Welcome to our second NoiseLetter, the monthly GreyNoise newsletter where we keep you up to date on all things GreyNoise. Today is an exciting day here as we announce our latest product release. Learn more about our new features in the sections below.
GreyNoise CEO Andrew Morris gives his thoughts, hot-takes, and whatever else he feels like.
Check out our newly released features:
In the process of collecting, analyzing, and labeling internet background noise, we came to identify patterns among scanners and background noise traffic. With our new IP Similarity feature, we 1) enable anyone to easily sniff out groups of IPs who are behaving in similar capacities and 2) reduce the need for an analyst to pour over all the raw data to find combinations of similar and dissimilar information.
IP Timeline provides context on the activity of a particular IP address over the past 60 days, as seen by GreyNoise sensors, displayed in time chart format. Users can correlate the behavior of an IP they have seen in their data, learn what schedule an IP operates on, and gain a greater understanding of ownership and behavioral changes.
We created IP Geo Destination to enable our users to identify IPs or attacks that may be targeting specific geographic regions. These fields, available to paying customers, draw on the destination of our sensors that have observed scanning activity and therefore cannot be spoofed.
